classroom case studies, it will include demonstrations and limited, hands-on lab
techniques by participants. Subjects include Values Associated with Embalming and
Reconstructive Surgery, Swollen & Discolored Eyes, Risk Management, Organ & Tissue
Cases, The Autopsy Case, Preparing Decomposed & Charred Cases for Burial or
Transport, The Obese Case, Grossly Swollen Edema or Sub-Cutaneous Emphysema,
Forensic Death Investigations, Reconstruction Following Massive Trauma & more.

5D Hands-On Advanced Post Mortem Reconstructive Surgery Level 1

Date: Monday February 23rd through Friday 27th February 2026

This seminar will include classroom presentations as well as intense, hands-on daily lab
application focused on massive head trauma repair. Participants are assigned a
cadaver body.
